1Who we are and scope
This policy explains what personal data Tadreasy collects, why, and how we protect it. It applies to teachers with an account and to every visitor to the site. We collect only the minimum needed to run the directory.
2Teacher account data
When you create a teacher account we collect:
- Your name and email address, which Google shares with us when you sign in with your Google account. We never see or store your Google password.
- Your profile details: name (and optionally in Arabic), photo, short bio and description in up to three languages, gender and who you teach, years of experience, subjects, levels and specialisations, wilaya, teaching modes and languages, degrees and certificates, lesson packages, availability days and an intro video link if you add one.
- The contact methods you choose to add (phone, WhatsApp, email…), which are shown publicly.
- Moderation notes our team records when approving, rejecting or suspending a profile.
3Payment data
When you pay for a listing or featured placement, we keep a record of the transaction: amount, status, date and the payment gateway's reference. Card details (EDAHABIA or CIB) are processed directly by our payment provider Chargily; we never see or store them.
4Visitor data
You do not need an account to browse. We only collect visitor data that visitors send us themselves:
- Subject requests: name, phone and/or email, wilaya and an optional note.
- Profile reports: reason and message, plus the reporter's name if they choose to give it.
- Recommendations for a teacher: the author's name and message, plus a one-way hash of their IP address, used only to spot several recommendations sent from the same connection.
- Contact form messages: name, how to reply and the message itself.
6How we use data
- Showing approved teacher profiles and letting visitors contact teachers directly.
- Getting back to people who send subject requests, and answering messages and reports.
- Moderating profiles and handling reports and payments.
- Keeping the site secure: preventing abuse and spam, and rate-limiting requests.
- Sending service messages, such as profile approval or the end of a listing period.
8Retention and deletion
We keep data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for.
- Teachers: you can delete your account yourself at any time from your dashboard. Your profile is removed from the site straight away and your sign-in is removed. We keep a closed record (name, email, contact methods, profile details and payment history), visible only to our team, for accounting, handling disputes or reports, and to be able to contact you. You can ask us to erase it through the contact page, except for what the law requires us to keep.
- Visitors: you can ask us to delete a request, message, report or recommendation you sent, through the contact page.
- Payment records may be kept for as long as the law requires or to handle an open dispute.
9Your rights
Under Algerian Law No. 18-07 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data, you have the right to:
- Access your data and know how it is processed.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Have your data deleted.
- Object to its processing on legitimate grounds.
To exercise these rights, write to us through the contact page; we may ask you to confirm your identity.
10Security and minors
We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the admin area and secure storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly safe, but we work to keep the risks low.
The site is not intended to collect data from children. If the student is a minor, a parent should send requests and contact teachers.
11Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Teachers are told about important changes on the platform or by email. For any question about your data, write to us through the contact page.
